Miss cocobutter is just upset - possibly justifiably...the qqr skin is a harmless and faintly amusing demonstration of......tit for tat.

But the more pertinent misunderstanding lies in the post on QQR that Lawrence Jones was party to the creation of this board.

I would be most grateful if Upsetter would don his qqr guise and apologise, on that forum, to Lawrence for inferring that he helped Mr Crusoe create The Desert Island. Lawrence did not.

Moving on....

Since the creator of this board and his assistant/s are members and mods on QQR, I for one will be listening to DID with an extra keen ear tomorrow with a view to using this board to discuss the program.

This is very true. Dr Jones was invited onto the island because of his love of radio. We were lucky that he became one of the earliest contributors.

Anything about this place or the way that it was set up that you dislike (and there appears to be much) is entirely my fault.

The QNI board was temporarily open to friends while V4 did it's ghastly thing. We didn't expect chums to nick the tea sp oons!

Some of the content was / is to be implemented on QQR when time allows.
