Have you ever ...... lost touch with a special person, missed hearing their thoughts, hope they're doing well, wish to let them know they've touched your life ... ... and continue to do so, even in their silent ways ... ?

Goodness, lonely, how poignant and what a beautiful picture (and yet, in context, rather poignant, too). We all live in the present and get caught up in events and it’s easy for the gaps between seeing/ speaking to friends to get longer and longer until the point where you might be considered to have lost touch. I have had some wonderful times with friends over the years and have been impressed with their kindness, inventiveness, humour, humanity, intelligence and so on. These times all help form what we are and I’ll always be grateful for them. And I regret loosing touch with people, as well. I’m sure everyone does. By the way, an excellent record:-

Have you ever ...... lost touch with a special person, missed hearing their thoughts, hope they're doing well, wish to let them know they've touched your life ... ... and continue to do so, even in their silent ways ... ? This is a lovely lighthouse for old friends to meet and repair emotional scratches. It’s often windy though, so it’s wise to keep a secret hairbrush in one’s pocket. There’s an anonymous shed close by in the event that one feels the need for a sneaky and private swipe of the hair. It just goes to show how important an efficient hair conditioner actually is and one should always think twice before reaching for the vinegar jar. Also, thick trousers – as opposed to flimsy net curtain-type are advisable. High-heel boots are a defnite no-no.
