Not much festive spirit here. Merry Christmasto Benbow (wherever he is) Nudders Lux Pooks Lil Sea Horse and Crusoe. I hope you all have a splendid time swigging back the coconut cocktails underneath the palm trees and find some startling surprises by way of unexpected presents, under the sea shells. I know I will. I already peeked, then wrapped it up again. Happy Christmas and New Year from Nursie

Seems a shame that 17 viewings so far and no one else has bothered to reply. Including the host of this board, to be honest. But maybe he is very busy.

A happy new year to all islanders, with apologies for not having been around, but nevertheless you were all on my mind, so no sulking please. Hugs and kisses to all, and buckets of elderflower champagne which should be ready shortly. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties.

Thank you so much, Nurse D. And I hope that yours was an enjoyable one, too, Mothers in Law permitting. Not much festive spirit here. Very true. Apologies for that, I’ve been running around this island, trying to find a turkey-flavoured coconut but I’m afraid it may be beyond me. Hopefully my plan to grow sprouts in the island will have succeeded by next year. I hope you all have a splendid time swigging back the coconut cocktails underneath the palm trees and find some startling surprises by way of unexpected presents, under the sea shells. I know I will. I already peeked, then wrapped it up again. Sounds interesting. Feel free to tell us more, now you can know “officially”

Isn’t a chap allowed to put his feet up in the study with a bottle glass or two of sherry at the end of term? Still, good to know you’re thinking of the staff, Christmas Guest. And er, Happy New Year. Hic.
