You will note that you can say b**ger, b**ger, b**ger to your heart's content here. Why is that? In the UK that kind of malarky used to get you jailed. I believe it's still illegal to b**ger a woman....especially if she says no thank you. As you know pretty much anything goes, here unless it would:- a) Offend other members or b) Have the potential to get the board deleted. Given the popularity of bu**ery, particularly amongst Public Schoolboys, should we relax the automod a little?

Yes, let's. It's galling to see one's slightly risqué bon mot destroyed by the Auto-moron substituting something irrelevant - in another place I wrote of a spoof and it came out as a 'sgay person'! Pathetic.

I'm amazed. I typed in slut and trollop and both got through! IIRC slut was replaced by "very friendly person" as if that makes any sense at all. I have only a tiny shred of interest in sluts and trollops, you understand. It's just for the limericking, rhymes and all. Very Upstanding Nursie

Isn't 'trollope' a lovely word? There's something very soft and friendly about it...

Right then, that seems pretty unanimous. You can now say ar*e and bu**er. If you want to.
And I have discovered how to make it less sensitive, so that we can hopefully say Scunthorpe without incident.
Ooh, it works
By the way, Nursie, were you suggesting that people could be offended by sl*ts and tr*ll*ps (although not Trollopes)? It can be added, if you want.

Slits and slots may offend the prurient, but sluts... never!

There weren't many trollops in Trollope, were there?

Right then, that seems pretty unanimous. You can now say ar*e and bu**er. If you want to. I'll make a note of that then. Now why does this remind me of Eric Morecombe? Dearie me no. I just vaguely remember typing sl*t in a parallel universe about a hundred years ago, and it was turned - cryptically - into VeryFriendlyPerson. This had me agape! Are sl*ts very friendly people? Then they should be in telesales, perhaps. scratchy-head gif thing.

Here's another one to add to the passle of sl*ts, trollops and wenches: Strumpetsand also, perhaps, a word I got off Lux: (I didn't used to like it but now I'm getting fond of it) (the word, that is) Bints.
