Great to hear Mr. Anderson on POTW last night and I couldn’t agree with him more concerning his comments about the quality of ‘Malcolm McLaren’s Musical Map of London’. I enjoyed every minute of this and it really was some of the finest radio (possibly my favourite) programme I’ve heard for a long time. Saturday was yet another wonderful night for radio and the Archive Hour was faultless (Dream Boats). It is often that R4 gets anything right about Liverpool, but the producer didn’t put a foot wrong with this broadcast. I loved the speakers with the Liverpudlian/New York accents! Also agreed with Stuart Maconie’s comments (Critical List) in concerning a retrospective visit to Ram.
