I meant to ask if anyone heard this excellent piece of radio journalism from Sydney. (R4 - in the light of recent happenings) I really wanted to make a note of her name.
I think this lady is an exceptionally gifted professional (for me vaguely reminiscent of the excellent Fergal Keane's approach to the vocation), well worth watching out for.

Oh yes, I enjoyed this talk immensely and certainly one of the most impressive and interesting radio letters from Australia that I’ve heard in many years. I liked the way she detailed the background to the current violence and condemned it unreservedly. It was also good to hear her speak about maintaining the daily visits to the beach. I’m baffled, though, because I thought I heard this talk very recently, yet I’ve just checked through my back copies of The Radio Times and the programme was part of the series entitled Air Mail and originally broadcast on 24th. September 2005. Her name is Sarah McDonald (some info. about her on Google) and the producer’s name is Sue Ellis. I’ve had a look on the R4 web-site for you but can’t find any transcriptions of these talks.
