Excellent letter from a contributor to Friday’s edition of Feedback (repeated to-day (16th 2000hrs)), concerning the ‘digital revolution’. It would be an understatement to suggest that Mr. Thompson’s response lacked any intellectual rigour.
Sincerely,
Billy P. Maxwell.

Could you expand? A little more info, a link? Hee-hee ‘Silver Hammer’, I was so hacked off after struggling with Mark Lawson on Private Passions last week and Sheila Hancock the week before that I decided to give Quote Unquote a final, final, final, final, final chance! Anyway, someone in the team (I won’t name them because I like this lady) had to identify these lyrics: ‘And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love, you make’. Needless to say, everyone failed. Also noticed that the team described in the Radio Times didn’t match up with the team on the programme! I’ve never understood why none of the presenters at R4 have ever had any interest in music. The R4 University Challenge team music questions were as follows: Miss Murray had to identify ‘These Boots Are Made For Walking when played back-to-front. She succeeded! Martha Kearney had to identify: Magic Moments played back-to-front. She failed! I want to know why the WH team aren’t listening to The Dead 60’s. Concerning your request for expansion concerning the digital revolution, Feedback is on R4 tonight @ 0800 hours. My evening meal is starting to burn, so I’ll come back to you if you miss it.
