Does anyone else find Sue Perkins to be (unexpectedly) a real pain in the neck on BBC7's morning comedy strand?
Why don't they leave it to the programmes to be funny? At this rate I shall have to switch to Oneword...

I haven’t heard her doing that. Often though, the linking bits in BBC7 comedy things leave a bit to be desired.
I have heard Sue Perkins on quite a few things, lately, and am rather surprised by how much I’m warming to her.

She's clever... but that's not what you want in a continuity announcer.

The current presenter is even worse than Miss Perkins... he tries desperately to be funny, wacky or zany - whatever. It's excruciating...
Come back (from the dead) Wallace Geenslade... we need you!

I think that the first rule in the broadcaster’s handbook should be “don’t try to be wacky or zany”. I find it makes me uncomfortable in the extreme, almost feeling embarrassed on behalf of the presenter.
I don’t know f you ever listened to Radio 4’s children’s programme “Go 4 It”, when it started but the presenter, Matt “Ace” Smith really did make me cringe.

This looks like a bit of fun. I wish I understood ÁåÉùÏÂÔØese.
