I thought I better intervene as Nursie appears to be talking to herself ! Nursie often talks to herself. That way she gets a decent conversation line of thought going, in pictures.

William Shakespeare: Song from Twelfth Night What is love, tis not hereafter, Present mirth, hath present laughter: What's to come, is still unsure. In delay there lies no plenty, Then come kiss me, sweet and twenty: Youth's a stuff will not endure.

Youth And Beauty - William Carlos Williams
I bought a dishmop— having no daughter— for they had twisted fine ribbons of shining copper about white twine and made a tousled head of it, fastened it upon a turned ash stick slender at the neck straight, tall— when tied upright on the brass wallbracket to be a light for me and naked as a girl should seem to her father
