my bucketnspade link won't work try HERE instead! Clever stuff.... but I HAVE to say that is one of the ugliest web-pages I have ever seen, and I've seen plenty... <%@language="JAVASCRIPT" CODEPAGE="1252"%> is plastered across the top of my screen for no apparent reason ... I thought it would have to be a Front Page site, but I can't see any trace of that. |

This is quite interesting, actually. There is the Punalu'u Black Sand Beach on the Big Island of Hawaii - "black sand" due to the the ashen volcanic rock, of course. And they tell visitors "don't take the sand". ;D Although I'd say the colour choices in your link were much prettier.  |

Does anyone know if visitors to Alum Bay in the Isle of Wight are still encouraged to fill glass tubes with the various coloured sands there and take them away? My brother never forgave me for finding virulent purple sand that he missed...
