There doesn't seem to be anything malevolent or even slightly dodgy about them - just a portal with music, fashion, pussy cats -- all sorts of stuff - ads for electronics products. All text in Japanese.

Well, I 'nearly' clicked on them and then thought better of it. Yes, they're Japanese, for some reason Jap sites have lots of  ?? marks and repeated letters and numbers. I've never quite understood why but the 66666 definitely played a large part in making me avoid them. |

If you change your browser encoding to EUC-JP, you will see the delightful Japanese characters instead of all the odds-and sods... the Proboards pages will set your encoding to iso-8859-1, which doesn't have the Japanese characters. A pointless exercise, really, since neither of us can read Japanese...
